Piezography
My black and white fine art photography is printed using Piezography, a process that I have been using for several years.
Piezography is a system that replaces the standard ink in an Epson printer with up to seven different shades of monochromatic ink. Piezography also requires the use of a specialized software RIP and custom profiles that control the output of each individual shade of ink.
The seven shades of ink that the Piezography K7 system utilizes allows for increased highlight and shadow detail and far more levels gray than the Epson ABW system.
